He turned one!
If you could read Davis' mind when he was blowing out his candles, "Get me out of here" or "I wish my parents would have never thrown me this party" is what you would hear.
While we were in Utah I decided to throw a very last minute Birthday party for Davis. After all he was turning one, and I was feeling kind of lame for not planning anything. Thanks to all of our amazing friends (really, we love you all) we pulled it off. We had delicious Cafe Rio cater the food and Nothing Bundt Cake for dessert. It was a great day, except for the fact that Davis was scared of all his guests. He would not let us put him down and just shook his head no at everyone and everything.
Thanks to everyone who made it such a fun day. Where would we be in life without good friends? We are blessed with some of the best. Honestly!

happy birthday davis! doesn't it feel strange to have a one year old? it made me a little sad. it looks like such a fun party...minus the fact that davis didn't love it =) nothing bundt cake is my favorite!!!
Looks like a very fun and yummy party! I noticed that in the last picture each of the girls had kids all around the same age and they alternated girl, boy. That's talent! (:

Is it silly if I'm already stressing out about throwing Q a 1st birthday party? (Yes, it is). Good job, W. Looks like it was so much fun. Davis will appreciate the photos when he's older, even if he maybe didn't love the actual event! :)
